Connections Event Highlights
It was a pleasure to host our clients, friends and colleagues at our last Connections event in October.
Mark Lister from Craigs Investment Partners was kind enough to join us and speak to his thoughts on the current market. Some of our key takeaways from the night are;
- Investment is a long game not a short game. “If you don’t intend to invest for 10 years, don’t even think about investing for 10 minutes.”
- Quality is the key. Everybody gets looked after when times are good, but what happens when the tide starts to go out? Focus on superior locations, top-quality tenants, low vacancy rates and long-term leases.
- Sector specific investing can help lessen the impact during hard economic times
- Don’t underestimate the effects of inflation on reducing $ value. Ensure you’re invested in growth assets
